Gold Coast to Airlie Beach

Adventure Voyage

Kioni  a well raced Beneteau First 47.7. Three double cabins with two heads. All safety gear, food, beverages, berthing and fuel supplied. Bring your wet weather gear and swimmers.

Depart Southport marina (27 58 15 S: 153 25 30 E) on 5th Aug 2010 bound for Lady Musgrave atol, atrip of some 300nm. We hope to overnight in the shelter of the reef. Depart Ladfy Musgrave on the 9th Aug bound for Yepoon or Keppel Bay Marina (23 09 36 S : 150 47 10 E) approximately 100nm away.

Depart Yepoon at dawn on the 10th August bound for Percy Island (21 38 33S: 150 14 34E) a full day voyage of 100nm. We will anchor at Percy Island for the night . BBQ facilities and swimming in warm tropical waters is the go.

Depart Percy Island after breakfast on the 11th August. This leg takes us to Airlie Beach, the end of our cruise. Expect to arrive late 12th August 2010.

Express Voyage

The Stick (Steinemann 66) Will depart Gold Coast on the morning of the 5th August for a fast and exciting dash up to Airlie Beach/Hamilton Island. Whilst you will see the sights during the day, you will be on a watch system simulating an ocean race. This trip is an excellent opportunity for those intending to begin ocean racing to experience blue water conditions. Lots of power, lots of speed!
