The Stick started life as a Steineman Open 60 in which form she completed multiple Vondee Globe Races. She has since been modified to become 66ft long. She has a new Carbon mast and boom. She has completed 2 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Races, the most recent of which was the 2009 finishing 22nd over the line and 4th in her division. The Stick uses water balast and with her new sails has become much more than a downwind rocket.

The Stick is an excellent campaigner and competes in most races in Australia’s offshore racing calendar and she has been entered in the 2011 Around Australia Ocean Race in the race category.
